John Tunnell
PASTOR
If I haven't told you lately, it is one of my greatest privileges in life to be the pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. And the absolute best part of being the pastor of Fairview is the people! The families here are some of my favorite people on the planet. I thank God that He has called us to love Him together, grow in Him together, and serve others in His name together.
Ephesians 3:20–21

Bruce Mikel
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
When I was 20 years old, I placed my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ—who rescued me from the kingdom of darkness and made me a new man (Col 1:13; 3:1–17). Soon after, the Spirit opened my eyes to the reality that there are still people and places who do not have a Bible in their language. With a new heart burdened for the lost who don’t have access to a Bible, I sensed the Lord calling me to pursue missions and theological education. So, I went to Bible college (TBC) to learn everything that I could and, after graduation, my wife and I served as Journeymen in Colombia with the IMB. After our term, we moved back to Texas so I could continue my theological studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS).
Providentially, on our first Sunday in Mineral Wells, we visited Fairview—which happened to be the Sunday to give mission trip reports. Through the preaching, the community, and the missions-minded focus, the Spirit made it clear that Fairview would be our new church home.

John David Binford
DIRECTOR OF YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY
God called me to serve and minister to students and young adults. This began with student ministry and has transitioned into college aged and young adults.
What I love about Fairview: this is a family in the truest sense—people who love Jesus and consistently show up for each other.
Fun Fact: I played college hockey for Dallas Baptist University
Favorite Verse: Ephesians 6:19

Skye Dorr
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
In a nutshell, my heart for this ministry is to share the love of Jesus and His goodness with children and their families. I love Fairview. It feels like one big family of believers with a mission to outdo one another in service and love. Outside of church, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, fishing, playing pickleball, making music, and spending time with my family. My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:8–9. It serves as a reminder for me to control my own thoughts and rest assured that when I do, the God of peace will be with me!

Colt Dorr
WORSHIP LEADER
One of the things I love most about Fairview is that no matter who you are or who you’re talking to, you’re made to feel welcome, loved, and part of the family. Outside of church, I love just about anything that gets me outdoors. Whether it’s hunting and fishing, or playing pickleball and golf, I enjoy being outside and spending time with family and friends. One of my favorite Bible verses has always been Philippians 1:6: “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” That verse is a constant reminder to me that God is always working in our lives, and He isn’t finished with us yet.

Tanner & Bailey Ingram
DIRECTORS OF YOUTH MINISTRY
Jesus is my Lord and Savior and I cannot do anything apart from him. I am a husband and father. The Lord blessed me and my beautiful wife, Bailey, with two boys, Holt and Hudson. I enjoy being outdoors, but I mostly love to fish—specifically fly fishing when I get the chance. My wife and I are blessed to be a part of God's mission to set the youth free from the lies of the enemy and point them to Jesus. My life verse is: “And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven…” Colossians 1:21–23 ESV
